lot of madness

Clock spring not wound
The key, where can it be found
You should redound
Second hand dance
Minute hand prance
Hour hand follow and advance
Watch clock won’t coil
Crocus till the soil
Will the spring do its thing?
Wound tight to make ring
The sound it will toll
will it bring
this thing called spring
Coffee on the boil
Grounds to fill the sole
Wake up, you silly thing
Come on get out of bed
you sleepy head
Did you not hear it ring?
Hey it’s spring

I can guess I helped inspire this Roy. I see references to coffee and soles.
Now on my Holes in My Soles site I recently had you over for a coffee and poetry read, and now this ! Well done. Love it.
