lot of don't

 lot of don’t
"Don’t let someone else's problems become yours” would you run into a burning house to save a person? People have all kinds of problem, some a simple as a thorn in their pinkie. One of the hardest things for me to do is to stand by and do nothing. Some years ago I watched as some people burn to death in a car accident. There was little I could do.  I was just a bystander not a fireman or a police officer. Had I been the officer at the scene I would have shot the people to stop their pain and suffering.  There were six people that I don’t know that live with me today, two adults and four children. The truck and camper over turned and burst in to flames. The fire department was on scene in less then a minute they were just across the street. Their problem became mine. There are problems that we can do nothing about, and there are the ones we have the answer to. I have been trained to be a search and rescue first responder. There is an old saying “when you save a life their life is yours”; any firefighter or police officer can tell you this is true.

Taking on someone’s problems can be saving someone’s life maybe yours. There have been many times I have help someone with a problem and found the answer to my own. It is out of love that we help others and love is the heart of our soul.

Just found a problem that was solved, we bought a new bottle of maple syrup, where they had addressed the drip problem.

We had pancakes for breakfast. This was a wonderful solution to the drip problem.  I am still laughing best pancake breakfast I had in a long time. Here is the solution.

howdy have a nice day

Oh Roy...such truth to your words. It is easy to get taken into other's problems and you find that you cannot 'fix' it for them. Sometimes, just being there is a 'helping hand'.
Loved your 'drip' problem with the syrup and the solution! Great post. Thanks for sharing:)

Oh Roy, you are precious. You turned over whatever we discussed this morning on its head! I'm speechless......

Roy sometimes people are not seeking for someone to fix their problems but just to hear them out. Just being there for them is helping and being understanding....
Thanks for sharing. A post that most must read.

Roy, helping others is an honor and it's true that when we help others god helps us. A selfish life is not worth much, thanks for sharing your lovely post.

Dearest Roy...I like how you're able to speak out words coming from your heart. You are a very simple person and I wish I could be like that in many many ways. I guess when people reach that age of wisdom, things would be easier...

As a nurse, caregiver and First Aid volunteer, I often ask myself how far I would go in helping other people... Most of the times, I have to dig deeper into their illnesses to help them find ways to recover. And it could also be emotionally draining at times...

But in cases of accidents or disasters...we were taught SAFETY FIRST of the volunteer...

How could I ever save another life if I myself am trapped...

Another rule is the SAMARITAN's... yes, I agree with you..."when you save a life their life is yours..."

Personally speaking, I get involved...Life is precious. I'll never give up on a person or situation...

love you Roy and this post :)

Good thing that Roy. I am notorious in making other's problems mine. I have a head full of problem that's why - but thank you for the advice. Cheers to the dripping solution : )
