Blog-A-Licious Blog Tour

Come join us on a fantastic blog hop that brings together bloggers of all genres, backgrounds and locations.

Tour Date - Saturday, 16 July
Theme - How to Stay Worry Free
Worry it one of the free thing in life that cost more than it worth. Why do you think they give it away?  because it is useless, well, may be it will get you a cup of coffee a drink or smoke.  People that worry never have fun and are not fun to be around. Now worrying just make you old, fat, and tired, worry ties you down keep you from the joys of this world.  You know the best time to start worrying is when it is all over after you have had your fun. Then you can give it to some poor fool that does not like to have a good laugh.
Worry is like a boat with a hole in it and a Leakey bucket, you work real hard and long to empty the boat that has all ready sank. Worry never got anyone anywhere, people that worry won’t come out and play, there is always a cloud hanging around and they might get wet.  Here is one sure fire way to beat the worry game, and that’s to climb in the saddle of a wild kaiuse and ride.  Now there might be some ups and down, maybe a little sun fishing, fishing is fun, some spinning around, you might fly a bit, but when you hit the ground you be running as fast as your legs will carry you and you won’t be worrying. Ride that pony!
Now I have another way to handle worry and I will sell it to you for the great price of a buck two ninety five, plus shipping and tax , oh and handling, or I will tell you how to make your very own worry free kit.  All you need it a block of hard wood the harder the better. And a nail , one of those little one about a half inch long , that’s  2 cm  for you folks that use that sort of stuff. And a good sixteen ounce hammers. Now then, once you got all the stuff to gather, you put your worries on the block of wood. Then take the little nail and put it between thumb and finger and drive the nail into the block of wood nailing the worries to it. Now you may see there are some other nails there, just hit the one in the middle.  Now you have all your worries pin up and you can get on with life, and don’t worry your thumb will heal, it help you to remember the worries are pin up, in about three days.
Now if these are not for you, you might find something that will help you to be worry free in one of the blog here in the list below.

Leave your order in the comment section below your Worry free kit will ship by boat from china or some place I can find to put them together in about eighteen months or so.
Thank you for your order and don’t worry it will ship. God bless

Hey another Poe-A-Tree Hop!

Hey another Poe-A-Tree Hop!
Well here we are going again just hopping all over the world.  As you may know the last hop we were looking at the rainbows. Saw some mighty pretty ones two.  But to have a rainbow you need a little rain. So this time, get you a box of Kleenex or a supply of crying towels cause were going to have a down pour of tears causing poem and tear jerking story for you to read. As you dry your eyes please leave a sympathy note in the comments. There a list of blogs that is participating in this hop below the poem and or story.  Have fun and cry your eyes out you will feel better. It good for you, Mikey like it.

Man has three kinds of tears reflex, continuous and emotional. Reflex tears are the security keeper for our eyes, continuous are the lube job the house keeper of peepers, but emotional tears are the best. I know what you are thinking no body want to cry or be seen crying.  Here are the health benefits of tears http://www.huffingtonpost.com/judith-orloff-md/emotional-wellness_b_653754.html
This is a good article on the subject.

TEARS
Now what make you cry?
Is it a pie in the eye?
A sliver on the pry

Maybe that guy
Or just being shy
Maybe it’s that fly
That crosses your eyes

Why do I cry?
When someone said goodbye
This bring tears to my eye
It’s not rain from the sky

Is it that I kneel?
Because of what I feel
My soul needs to heel
It’s a heavenly appeal

Someone up there
Has heard my prayer
And sent this to share
He waits up there

Long ago he has risen
And john did a baptism
The tear was given
To let us know we are forgiven

When a tear does fall
And finds your lips with grace
It is a taste of love from above
God did bless all with love

A final note: a tear is the blood of the soul that heels the body

Lot of returns

Some year back the telephone was quite different then the phone’s of today. They all had cords to the handset and they were wired to the wall. In some places people had to share the phone line. This was known as a party line. When the phone rang you had to listen to the ringing of the bell to tell if the call was for you. And if you wanted to make a call you had to listen to see if there was someone talking then the line was busy.

Listening in was not something you were supposed to do, but we did. Now the party line had it uses generally the people on your line were your neighbors and us kid would dial our own number then hang up. The phone would ring and we would pick up and the other kid on our line would also so we could talk without making a call, till mom and dad found out then it was our pants that rang.

In the early 80’s or late 70’s there was a new phone it had a cordless handset. For those of you that do remember or never knew about this type of phone, it used radio to broadcast the call from the receiver and back from the handset, walkie-talkies, LoL.  This was a great convenience you could walk all over the house and talk on the phone no cord to hold you in place.

I was the manager and part owner of a store that sold all kind of electronic goods and the cordless phones.
 There was this attractive lady of social prominence;
she was the president of the local lady group, and a divorces with two teenage boys at home.  She came and bought one of our cordless phones. Now the store had a return policy, if you had the sales receipt and the box that the item came in and the unit did not work as advertize. We would refund your money. There had been story about a conversation that was over heard that came in to the store and some laughing and giggling over what was heard.  We had people wanting to have their radios fixed because they were getting phone calls on the radio.

Now from what I was told about the call it was bit personnel. As a matter of fact it was somewhat of an XXX rated conversation.  The lady came back to the store to return the phone because it could be heard coming over the neighborhood radios. Now my partner in the store would not allow a return base on the fact the unit did work as advertize.  I heard she move to some other town.

Well thank you for stopping by, hope you had some fun.

Thank you and God bless

lot of thank you

A Thank you Poe-a-tree Poets from Mouse

The Poe-a-tree hop went over pretty good and I think we had a lot of and some great poems. I would like to thank all who participated, and give them a big round of applause for the great poetry they wrote.  It went so well I will host another hop this Friday starting at six PM post time on the fifteenth of July,

Going to shake the tree a bit the next Poe-a-Tree hop this Friday at six pm your time. There is one thing that men do that the other animal don’t, and that is tear animals cry but they don’t have tears rolling down their cheeks. So the theme of the next hop is tears, happy tears, tears of pain, or sad tears, just what does a tear do for us. And yes real men cry real tears.  There is some famous tears “A little bitty tear let me down. Burl Ivies”, “He taught the weeping willow how to cry, cry, cry Johnny cash”, “The little white cloud that cried. Johnny Ray” there is a lot more tears in songs and poems so let’s see just what we can come up with maybe an ode to and onion.
If you want to join the fun with your poetry or a tear jerker story  Sign up at RoyADurham@facebook.com

Now I had some yard work to do. There are honeysuckle and blackberry vines along my back fence. I was out trimming them down, they were almost out of control, I was sitting on a milk stool just whittling and whistling away when a bumble bee join the work detail and this is what transpired.
Just a daffy whittle
Whistle a song
Forgot the words that go along
Wood it be strange to see

A bumble bee sitting on my knee
I think I will be a flee
Honeysuckle is fun to whittle
It twists and turns just a little

Don’t get me wrong
I forgot the words to the song
Now that bee love the honeysuckle more than me
He won’t let me be

So I think I will dance
To the tune he is humming to me
And do the jig to the flight of the bumble bee
Before he stings the heck out of me

Head for the hills mouse there are wasps and bumble bees of every size.

please join us for the next Poe-a-tree hop.

Thank you for stopping by and god bless

lot of Poe-A-Tree-hop

Welcome to the Poe-a-tree hop. What is a Poe-A-Tree-hop? Will it is a group of writer of blogs who write poetry and stories.  This hop the theme is “what is your favorite color?” now there are many good writers on the list here at the bottom of this post that have written a poem or story about their color or colors. So if you hop on over to them you will start to see a rainbow of poetry colors, and you know what they say about rainbows, “there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.” To start it off here my attempt at what is my favorite color.

It could be that violets are red
And roses are purple and sunflowers are too
Something is wrong with this
These colors are of a different hue

Now I ride all day
My horse gets all the oats and hay
His color is bay now that not right she is also white
The one that tags along is strawberry roan

Of all the colors I have seen
There would be green
And that remind me of beans
Not to be mean to green I hate beans

Of all things I see there is the sky of blue
And if you knew it’s something true
I make my bed under a canopy deep blue
Star of Chrystal bright canvas the night

This all being said
It rattles my head
A color for me in the one I see
When I get a kiss

It is hues of red, blue, green
That makes up the scene
Of heavenly bliss
That makes me smile you a kiss

Thank you and god bless

This one is by Mattias Kroon

The blue field

I like it, I can feel it
Even if you were green from the beginning
you eventually turned blue
Even if you touched me with other colors
You stayed blue at the end

You are not only white or black
you are making us see what we want
Painted in the sky like a Rembrandt
Hidden by clouds but yet there
When I look at you I get rid of fear

You are a part of my nation together with a fellow
A cousin in the rainbow is following you
The sign of my car was influenced by you
Though you have a limit, I can embrace your art
The blue field is a favorite on my chart
