Would I be wrong if I said I am the son of God? I know many will scream blasphemer, some would say that I am a lunatic. Few would listen and some may follow. It is said that God made man in his own image and likeness. Jesus called us brothers and sisters. I am not a good Christian, I am not a priest, and I am not an evangelist. The only thing I am is a man, and some would argue that. I see and hear many people preach religion in many forms and beliefs. All who preach tell of your damnation very few if any will tell you that you are good and are going to heaven? I was raised as a catholic, and I call myself a Christian. We all search for who we are, what is the meaning of life, why are we here, when will we get there, how will we get there, and where is there. I have wondered what it would be like to walk in another man shoes. Like a great star of the stage and screen, a wealthy man, Very smart sciences professional, a great writer. I am none of these. I am just a man and father. As a father I have two that I father and some twenty or more that call me dad, there is not anything that I would not do for any one of them if it were in my power to do so. However there are things I would withhold, the thing that they are too young to control. Does this make me god, no I am a child of his. There are times in raising a child that you have to let go and let they do on their own, flying a kite, riding a bike, failing a test, winning a race. Dad help me with my math, dad make my cut finger heal, dad make me smarter, dad give me a million dollars. Dad can I drive the car. Dad…, dad…, dad…, dad less go fishing. Dad, give me a hug, hold me. I will not say I am the son of God, but I will say I am a son of god and your brother.

I absolutely believe we are all sons and daughters of God. It only makes sense. I feel His love as my Father, and know that He cares about what I do. Keep the faith! We are never alone.

Such beautiful writing and thinking Roy~!! I am going to say this is my favorite so far. It is because it came from your own heart and minds view in, and of life. We all have this, and we all need to share this. We help each other, that is true whether we, as the listener, agrees, or disagrees, with the person who has shared. We have still learned, and that it what we all need. I loved thi Roy.
