Just a update on my status and the status of my blog; I have
been through a bunch of testing to find out if I am healthy enough to have surgery
on my eyes, hand and leg. In the process of the testing they found that I am hyperglycemic,
my blood sugar is too high, and in a word I am diabetic. So they gave me another darn pill and whole
bunch of new rules I have to follow. The doc has limited the amount of time I can
spend at the computer to less than an hour per day, as it aggravates the problems
I am having with my eyes. Between the hyperglycemia and the cataracts my vision
is very poor to say the least. This picture
I took of some birds may give you an idea of how my vision is at this time.
The blurry vision has cleared up somewhat with the meds the
doc gave me for the hyperglycemia. But the cataracts dim the contrast of what I
see making it hard to read. I have been given the go-ahead for the cataract surgery
on September 12th for the left eye with the right eye to be done of October
10th.
I hope to have some guest post here in the coming weeks till
I get back to being able to spend more time writing here on my blog.
Thank you for stopping by and god bless

Glad to hear you got the diabetes diagnosed, could be really dangerous to not know. I know you will come through the surgeries fine, in the mean time prayers are with you.
Hang in there, Roy! It sounds like you are going through a lot. I'm glad the surgery got approved though and the diabetes diagnosed!
